"U.EDU: Unified Education - Media education along the teacher training chain" (BMBF funding code: 01JA2029)

At the TU Kaiseslautern, as part of the VikobeL project (AG Walker), video vignettes for the BBS teaching profession (in the technical areas of study) were developed for the first time in Germany, with which the competences required by the KMK can be recorded. However, it is not enough to simply provide an instrument for recording competencies. At the same time, the competencies must be developed on the part of the BBS students. This is precisely where the ProKom-LAB BBS project, conceived under Prof. Dr. Felix Walker (University of Hamburg) and continued in cooperation with the AG Fachdidaktik in der Technik, comes in. In the project, StD' Andrea Faath-Becker is developing, implementing and testing a learning environment in smallPART that enables students to plan, implement and reflect on skills-promoting lessons. The success of learning with video vignettes depends very much on a person's experience with video-based lesson analysis and their own teaching experience. Furthermore, there are currently no video vignettes in Germany for recording the professional competence of student teachers for vocational schools (apart from the video vignettes created in the ViKobeL project).
