The MI(N)Tmachwelt experimentation days are taking place again this year at the Kaiserslautern Garden Show. From September 5 - 7, various providers will be offering workshops for pupils in grades 8 - 13 as well as hands-on stations for children from the age of four.
The FD-Tech working group will also be taking part in this year's MI(N)Tmachwelt with various activities for schoolchildren. In addition to workshops on microcontrollers (Michael Becker) and pneumatics (Pia Schäfer and Andrea Faath-Becker), there will also be a hands-on stand (Jonas Burkhart). Enclosed is an overview of what the working group has to offer. The official MI(N)Tmachtwelt website can be accessed via the following link: click here.
| Date | Time of day | Topic/ Description |
| 05.09.2024 | 12:45-14:15 (3rd workshop round) | A look inside the black box: pneumatic circuits - from switch to movement How does a sorting system for parcels or suitcases work at the airport? In this workshop, you will create a logical circuit using computer software and simulate its function. You will then build it with pneumatic components. Pneumatics is a simple technology for getting started in control engineering. It works with compressed air and is used, for example, for the doors in buses and streetcars. A workshop to try out and solve problems! Leader: Pia Schäfer & Andrea Faath-Becker, at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau |
| 06.09.2024 | 12:45-14:15 (3rd workshop round) | Rebuilding a parking sensor Parking can be a challenge. Especially if the parking space is narrow and unclear. That's why many cars are supplied with a parking sensor. If the car approaches an obstacle while parking, an acoustic warning signal is emitted. | 07.09.2025 | 11:00-17:00 (hands-on stand) | Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Industry 4.0 with our interactive fischertechnik learning factory! Our hands-on stand is aimed at curious and technology-loving children and young people who want to discover the future of manufacturing in a playful way. We have set up a miniature learning factory that illustrates the entire production process: from ordering to production to delivery. Our hands-on stand offers you the opportunity to get hands-on and experience what the future of manufacturing looks like. Come along and discover the exciting world of Industry 4.0!
