Adoption of a fundamental revision

In June 2024, the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (KMK) adopted a fundamentally revised version of the recommendation to strengthen mathematics, science and technology education. The recommendation takes into account current and future challenges arising from technological and social change. In particular, the increasing demand for skilled workers in the STEM sector should be mentioned, which prompted the development and revision of the paper.
